Global Chanting for Peace and Harmony | 16th July 2017 (Sunday)

Dear All,

We invite you for the mantra chanting session on Sunday, July 16, 2017. We hope that this will be the beginning of many more chanting sessions in the future. Chanting mantras purifies our inner self and the environment, creates vibrational energy for peace and harmony and results in spiritual upliftment. For our global family, it is a great occasion to come together in harmony and offer our love and gratitude to our beloved Brahmarishi Mohanji.

The mantras for this event are the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra and the Mohanji Gayatri Mantra.

Mahamrytyunjaya Mantra:
Text: Om Thryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushthi vardhanam Urvaru kamiva Bandhanan Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat
Audio: https://youtu.be/3jeXRkIbdNQ
Meaning: We worship Shiva (the three eyed one), who is fragrant (in a state of supreme bliss) and who sustains all beings. May He liberate us from (total identification with) death (our mortal body and personality) and be granted (realisation of) our immortal nature, just as the cucumber is released from its bondage (the vine to which it is attached).

Mohanji Gayatri Mantra:
Text: Aum Parabrahmaaya Vidmahe Shiva Tattwaaya Dheemahi Tanno Mohan Prachodayaat
Audio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPCMSRxpzk0
Meaning: “Aum” represents the un-manifested Supreme which reflects itself through the many manifested beings.
“Parabrahmaaya Vidmahe” – We recognize (realize) this (the glory) as Parabrahma (the un-manifested Supreme)
“Shiva Tattwaaya Dheemahi” – We understand (meditate on) that principle of Shiva (state of Shiva)
“Tanno Mohan Prachodayaat” – That one who is represented, embodied or recognized as Mohan may enlighten us (may lead us to total liberation).

We request you to follow these simple rules for conducting this ceremony.
1) Mantras to be chanted with utmost devotion.
2) Place a picture of Brahmarishi Mohanji and light a lamp.
3) Please sit with your spine erect on a chair or on the floor as you do for our meditations.
4) If you are unable to chant the mantra, you may sit with your eyes closed and listen to the mantra as it is being played.
5) You can perform an arati to Brahmarishi Mohanji at the end of the session.
6) Please be ready to start exactly ON TIME.
7) Continue the chanting for about 10-15 minutes after the end time. This is to maintain the continuity of the chanting, while the next location gets started.
