Moral standards are disciplines given by society; it’s basically to maintain law and order in society. If all the people obey certain standards, society becomes cleaner; society becomes better to handle law and order and discipline, which means all those things can be maintained.

And then, when the soul is done with this body, it will go and probably take another body if we carry a lot of patterns. We do carry a lot of patterns. That’s natural for us to carry patterns. This is our life, repetitive patterns, existence, coming again, the same, different bodies, but fortunately, we don’t know the past lives, so we are okay. We think this is everything. Then we define Heaven and Hell apart from us, and all that.

Death has to happen at some point in time, whether we fear it or not. So, what’s the best way to deal with this fear? Perfect awareness. All that is born will have to die. Death is our most loyal companion. All others will come and go; death will stay. Awareness is very important. And using this time of existence on earth to connect to the brightness within us will help us to stay with this companion without emotions, understanding fully well its inevitability, its necessity, and its relevance. Awareness is the key, awareness is essential for a good life and good death.
