About Avadhoota Nadananda
Over the centuries, life stories of saints have inspired countless people to shed the dross and aspire to the sublime. One such true diamond among saints is Avadhoota Nadananda. Born into a traditional Saktha Namboodri family in Kerala, India, Avadhoota Nadananda embraced sanyasa at an early age to dedicate himself to the pursuit of the ultimate Truth, travelling the length and breadth of India. He spent considerable time in solitude in forests including those of the Narmada and the Himalayas engaging in rigorous austerities and extreme penance, to emerge as a luminous authority on the Samaya Marga of Srividya Upasana. Until recently, he was the 48th Pontiff of Gyanganj a.k.a Shamballa or Shangrila, abode of the Great Masters and Siddhas located in a remote, inaccessible part of Tibet.
Presently Swamiji heads the following organizations: Srividya Gyana Peetham in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, the Srividya Anusanthan Nyas in Panipat Haryana and Abhaya Varada in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
