Day 1Monday, August 5th 2019

Today marks the 1st day of the holy pilgrimage of Kailash with Mohanji.

Please arrive in Kathmandu by 4 PM and get your glimpse of the lovely city as you are transferred to the hotel.

In the evening, you will join other participants for a orientation by our tour operator followed by distribution of duffle bags and other goodies to allow you to pack your items for the journey.

Day 3Wednesday, August 7th 2019

Kathmandu – Syaprubeshi  (by Helicopter)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to take a Heli-flight from Kathmandu to Syaprubeshi.

Day 4Thursday, August 8th 2019

Drive Syaprubeshi – Kerung

After breakfast we drive to China border (Friendship bridge). After completion of custom formalities drive to Kerung. Overnight at Kerung in Guest House

Day 5Friday, August 9th 2019

Drive Kerung to Saga

After breakfast you drive from Kerung to Saga. Overnight at Saga Guest House.

Day 6Saturday, August 10th 2019

Drive Saga to Manasarovar

Today you will travel to Mansarovar via Prayang and Mayum La Pass (5200 m) and arrive at Hor Quo (4560 m). Lunch will be provided on the way. From Hor Quo you get to do a parikarma of Mansarovar Lake by drive and arrive at Chu Gompa for night halt.

Today is the day of lifetime as you will have the first sight of Holy Mt. Kailash and Holy Lake Mansarovar.

Yagnya & Srardh at Manasarovar

Today you will take part in ceremonies which has never ever been performed at Manasarovar before. You will have an opportunity to take part in:

  • Naandi Shraadh – A very powerful ceremony that invokes your ancestors and seek their blessings in the presence of the Master.
  • Shivlingam Pooja Spatik Linga
  • Lagu Rudra Yagna– The most sacred and powerful among all the Maha Yagna done to wash away all the sins and bring to maintain peace, prosperity, happiness and family togetherness.
  • and special visit to Rakshas taal
Day 8Monday, August 12th 2019

Continuation of Pooja

Today, you will once again be at the banks of the Holy Lake Manasarovar performing various spiritual ceremonies listed in the previous day. Overnight stay at Lake Manasarovar.

Day 9Tuesday, August 13th 2019

Day 1 – Parikrama: Yama Dwar to Dirapuk

In the morning, drive to Yama Dwar (The gates to the God of Death). Here you will meet the Pony with the Pony man* and the Porter* who will assist you through your parikrama.

Overnight you will halt at Dirapuk at Guest House. From Dirapuk, you get to view the North face of Kailash in a distance.

** The pony with the pony man and porter will have to be paid separately for their services during the Parikrama

Day 10Wednesday, August 14th 2019

Day 2 Parikrama: Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk

Early morning trek uphill to Dolma La Pass. It takes about 4-5 hours. After reaching the highest point in the parikrama (Dolma La Pass), you trek down to see Gauri Kund, also called Lake Tara and then to Zuthulpuk. This is the longest and toughest day of Parikrama.

This is the longest and toughest day of Parikrama. This trek is the toughest in both grit and spirit. The route is almost 25 kilometres long. Overnight stay at Zuthulpuk guest house.

Day 11Thursday, August 15th 2019

Day 3 Parikrama: Zuthulpuk to Chongdo, drive to Manasarovar

Day 3 consists of a 8-10 km easy walk from Zuthulpuk to Chongdo. A transport will pick you up and drive you back to Manasarovar. Overnight stay at Manasarovar guest house.

A pilgrim says, “After completing the parikrama, you realize that you were being prepared for this moment all your life. You lose your identity and you become fluid. You become one with the divine, in real terms. There is a certain and sure shift in the consciousness. It was all so perfectly planned.”

After completion of the parikrama, you will be taking the transport back to Darchen where you will stay overnight.

Day 12Friday, August 16th 2019

Drive to Saga

Drive to Saga after breakfast. Overnight stay at Saga.

Day 13Saturday, August 17th 2019

Drive Saga to Syaprubesi

After breakfast, set off for a drive from Saga to Kerung (Syaprubesi). Driving time will be for about 7 hours. Overnight stay at Syaprubesi guest house.

Day 14Sunday, August 18th 2019

Helicopter from Syaprubesi to Kathmandu

You will fly from Syaprubesi to Kathmandu by Helicopter. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Remaining day is free for rest or shopping.

Day 15Monday, August 19th 2019

Depart from Kathmandu after breakfast

After breakfast, you are transferred to Kathmandu airport for your final departure.

Important Announcement

  • This year, Mohanji will meet all pilgrims directly at Mansarovar, and not at Kathmandu.
  • Pilgrims will have an opportunity to participate in the special ceremonies in His presence. (refer to the itinerary)
  • Pilgrims can also take dips in His presence and take His blessings. However please note that Mohanji may not be taking dips with the pilgrim group.
