78th Independence Day Celebration by Indian High Commission at Navnat Centre

What a fabulous day at Navnat Centre, Hayes celebrating the 78th Independence Day of India – an event organised by the High Commissioner of India in London.

Despite rain all through the day, the atmosphere was bright and shining with thousands of people!

Lots of stalls, food, music, colours, friendship and joy unlimited!

The Mohanji Foundation UK and ACT Foundation UK  stall was very much in part of this celebration, serving hot Popcorn to all visitors, which was a great hit in the rainy weather!

The High Commissioner of India, the Mayor and MP visited our stall where we presented them the Global Impact Reports of Mohanji and ACT Foundation and a new coffee table book “Ahimsa” a book of Quotes by Mohanji on non-vilolence, love and compassion.

The HCI gifted us a fruit tree sapling which we will plant at the Mohanji Centre of Benevolence – Scotland and he was happy know about the centre and expressed that he would like to visit there.

Many visitors, while standing for the hot hot pop corn, engaged with us to know more about the activities of ACT and of Mohanji’s teaching and everyone left impressed!

Today, from our stall, we shared the feelings of friendship and the inspiration of “one positive act a day”.

We express our sincere gratitude to the HCI London and Navnat Centre for this opportunity.
