Mohanji Day Celebration in Reading, UK

The Mohanji UK Team convened in Reading to commemorate Mohanji’s 59th Birthday on February 23rd. Designated as Mohanji Day, it honored the invaluable contributions of Mohanji Foundation & ACT Foundation in the UK. Participants reflected on the past year’s activities, recognizing their societal impact and individual spiritual growth.

The celebration was enriched by the presence of esteemed guests: Swami Surya and Sister Ally from Skanda Vale, Dr. Veeru Mudigonda from Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust UK, and Amita Mishra & Sukant Sahu from Shree Jagannatha Society UK. Soul-stirring devotional music further elevated the atmosphere.

Subhasree, Vice Chair of Mohanji Foundation, highlighted the year’s achievements, notably the Mohanji Centre of Benevolence and the Prana Pratishtha of Shirdi Sai Baba.  She also reiterated Mohanji’s guidance on the Raja Yoga path.

Swami Surya emphasised the unity within Tradition, citing the Prana Pratishtha ceremonies at Skanda Vale and MCB Scotland as demonstrations of this unity. Sister Ally spoke eloquently about serving the Guru, while Dr. Veeru stressed the significance of being with a living Master.

Volunteers shared personal transformation stories and service experiences. The “Circle of Gratitude” practice, as guided by Mohanji, fostered reflection and gratitude.

The culmination of the celebration saw everyone gathering to cut the vegan cake, extending heartfelt birthday wishes to Mohanji as an expression of their profound gratitude and love for their beloved Guru.

Following this heartwarming moment, all attendees savored a delightful vegan dinner meticulously prepared with love by dedicated volunteers, further enhancing the spirit of camaraderie and appreciation that permeated the gathering.

The evening stood as a powerful testament to the unity and closeness shared among members of the Mohanji family.
