ACT Foundation UK at the House of Commons, United Kingdom

Vijay Ramanaidoo as Chairman of Mohanji Foundation UK, was invited to a Diwali function hosted by the Speaker of the House of Commons, The Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle. The event was a gathering of MPs, Lords, Businessmen, representatives of charitable and community organisations as well as religious leaders from the Hindu, Sikh and Jain communities. This was a very inspiring event, the main theme of which was spreading the light of love and compassion in the world today.

Vijay took the opportunity to show both Sir Lindsay Hoyle and the Rt Hon MP Bob Blackman the ACT 20th Anniversary brochure highlighting the work that ACT Foundation is doing in the world and the difference being made to the lives of so many people worldwide. Both were very impressed with the scope and scale of the work of ACT Foundation, especially the ACT 4 Ukraine initiative and disaster relief programmes.
