ප්රධාන සැලැස්ම

The Mohanji Datta Tapovan master plan has been thoughtfully designed to align with similar Mohanji Centers of Benevolence (MCBs) worldwide, ensuring a harmonious and spiritually uplifting experience. Rooted in Sri Lanka’s rich architectural heritage, the design seamlessly blends traditional styles with deep spiritual symbolism, creating an environment that radiates peace and devotion.

We can’t control the world outside. But we are not influenced by the world outside so much that we become unstable. That’s why I’m creating this space. If a person has one day they can spend one day, if they have one week to spare, they can spend one week. And there’ll be programs, and there’ll be activities to deepen their stability factor. So, they can stay here as long as they like, one day, two days, three days, one week, one month, no problem. We will also create silent zones, where they don’t have to interact with anybody. They don’t even have to have eye contact. They look within and they stay, and we will provide food there itself, and there’ll be toilet and bath facilities in the neighbourhood, there’ll be pods for them to meditate and take rest. A few days of silence will give them a lot of strength.

Key feature
The Tapovan is designed as a sacred space that fosters spiritual growth, inner peace, and community connection. Every element within the master plan has been carefully envisioned to create an environment where seekers can immerse themselves in deep contemplation, devotional practices, and selfless service.

The architectural design features a blend of sacred and functional spaces, fostering spiritual growth and inner peace. It includes open-air and conventional temples dedicated to revered deities and saints, along with a sacred fire pit (Duni) for rituals. A tranquil meditation hall near Mahavatar Babaji’s temple and private meditation huts across the Tapovan provide seekers with spaces for deep contemplation.
Mohanji Bavan (Mohanji’s residence) and accommodations for VIPs, priests and guests ensure a harmonious living environment. The facility also includes an industrial kitchen and dining hall, a shop, cafeteria, library, and a multi-purpose hall to support community activities.
Serene water features and beautifully landscaped gardens with sacred plants and walkways further enhance the meditative atmosphere.

We are the world of noises, and we become part of that noise, and we get lost in it. But here, when you go into deeper and deeper layers of silence, we have methods for it that will bring you back to the world of noises as silence, which is very powerful. When you’re unbound or unhindered by noises, you’re super strong. We know that no noise affects you, whether it is good, bad, or ugly. If it doesn’t affect you, then you’re super powerful, super strong.
So, those kinds of things, and plus our activities, like walking meditation, Kriya… We’ll roll out everything here. The Mai-Tri method will be there, which will help people to speed up the healing process. There’ll be processes, meditation retreats, 24/7 365-day retreats, which means people can check in anytime, they can go through the process, or they can sleep here, and they can participate the next day also. Everything will be comfortable, and the food will be vegan. As you see the board outside, this is a vegan sanctuary. No animal products will be entertained here. Even if people bring animal products, we’ll give it back to them. Clothes, food, everything will be cruelty-free.

The Mohanji Datta Tapovan is more than just a place of worship—it is a holistic space for spiritual growth, reflection, and inner peace, where every element works in harmony to elevate the consciousness of all who enter.
