Blessed and Grateful

Sreepriya, September 4, 2024

I recently attended my first retreat at Mohanji’s ashram in MCB Virginia, which I realized is akin to the Dwarkamai of Shirdi, where no one leaves empty-handed. Through this retreat, Mohanji helped me shed a significant emotional burden that I had been carrying for months or even years. The experience was incredibly powerful, especially in Mohanji’s presence.

I am grateful to Tina for encouraging me to attend this retreat. It truly felt like a call from Mohanji, especially as I was contemplating whether to go just two days before it began. In that moment of uncertainty, I received a message from Baba that echoed in my heart: “Don’t even think of giving up.” It felt as though those words were spoken directly to me, and with that inspiration, I made the decision to attend. I am thankful that Mohanji took care of everything for me at the retreat and my family, when I was not home with them.

This retreat has not only lightened my heart but has also deepened my spiritual journey. I leave with a renewed sense of purpose, greater clarity, and an unshakeable connection to Mohanji.

From the very first day, I began to feel intense energies both within me and around me. I recognized that Mohanji’s energies were working to cleanse me of my burdens. The process of cleansing was so profound that I found it difficult to engage with anyone throughout the entire retreat. Each day featured a meditation, and every meditation had its unique purpose.

During the abundance meditation guided by Mohanji, I experienced a powerful vision in my third eye where I saw Sathya Sai Baba blessing me and acknowledging my journey. This profound experience deepened my connection with Mohanji.

Every day, a satsang session took place, and one day, Mohanji decided to hold it outdoors. As we settled down, a light drizzle began and the clouds gathered ominously in the sky hinting that rain was imminent. Someone from the team suggested that Mohanji should wrap up the satsang early to avoid the downpour. However, Mohanji remained unperturbed. With a gentle wave of his hand the drizzling stopped and the sky cleared instantly.

This miraculous moment reminded me of the stories from the Sai Satcharitra where Baba calmed a storm with a mere gesture. Witnessing an avatar perform such a divine act felt like a true miracle.

On my final day of the retreat, I expressed a heartfelt wish to Ashish to be able to prepare and serve food to Mohanji. To my delight, the volunteers graciously accommodated my request and I had the opportunity to help prepare a special drink. When we served the food, Mohanji unexpectedly came out to the tent and enjoyed the drink I had made. I learned from Ashish that Mohanji usually prefers to have food brought inside the ashram, so it was surprising to see him come out as if he had intuitively heard the wishes of his devotees. This moment fulfilled my wish without me having to voice it, leaving me in awe of Mohanji’s understanding.

Overall, I feel incredibly blessed and deeply grateful for this transformative experience.
