We are the wolrd
The world, as we see it, is a projection of our self; so, act now, without further delay, to embrace life without prejudice and make it perfect, says guru Mohanji
Every individual is unique. Our inherent nature gets reflected in our constitution, our likes and dislikes, as well as our general outlook. We are all unconsciously displaying our nature constantly. Our response to natural beauty and our feeling of it has an internal root. Some people love the mountains, some, oceans and yet, others take the middle path. When our internal nature is peaceful due to total acceptance of our self as a complete creation, we only see perfection all around us. Whenever there is lack of acceptance, there will be discontentment in life. We only see our own projections and reflections. We see nothing but ourselves around us.
Our inherent nature has its root in impressions. Impressions are the residual memories of life experiences. We capture pleasure and pain alike and store them. We depend on external materials, time, space, and people to experience life. We form concepts, character traits, and opinions. We make life heaven or hell this way.
And we blame the world for our predicament. We should accept all our thoughts, words, and experiences as they happen, as our own creation. Thus, when we accept all the things we experience, we start loving our own existence. We start experiencing ourselves completely. We start feeling life.
Feeling life. That is the key. We often see life, live life, and judge life based on our concepts and thus, lose life. We lose precious friendships because of our prejudices which, in turn, breed regrets. They sustain guilt and hatred towards ourselves, which dents our self-esteem and pushes us into depression. We see this happening in everyday life to so many people around us. Act now! Do what you must do, right now. “Shubhasya Sheeghram.” (That which is prompt is auspicious.)
Sai Baba used to chide those who postponed things, stating it as a visible sign of inherent inertia and a sure recipe for further births. We must live today and love today. Tomorrow is not in our hands yet. Whatever makes us permanently light and expanded is good for us. Whatever makes us heavy is bad for us. Thus starts our simple method of feeling life. When we plunge into gadgets that rule us and control us, we forget to feel life. We lose real contact with people. We live in the virtual world which reinforces relative truth (Maya) and detaches us from absolute truth (Mata). We only exist, as we have stopped ‘living’ a long time ago.
Hence, connecting to one’s nature is absolutely essential. We need to feel ourselves, recognise ourselves, and accept ourselves. We consciously or unconsciously authored this book which we call our life and must read it before we die. Every other book is someone else’s story. Our story will be incomplete if we fail to read it and understand it.
