Mohanji Inaugurates Five-day Vinayaka Chaturthi Festival 2025 at Surya Kaladi Mana

A Sacred Beginning

On August 23, spiritual leader Mohanji visited Surya Kaladi Vinayaka Chaturthi Festival 2025 at the invitation of Suryan Subramanian—lovingly called Maniettan by Mohanji—to inaugurate the five-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Honouring the Five Branches of Worship

Celebrating the divine Panchayatana tradition (five key traditions of worship in Sanatana Dharma), each day was dedicated to one of the Panchayatana deities as propounded by Adi Shankaracharya :
  • Shaivam
  • Sauram
  • Vaishnavam
  • Shaktheyam
  • Ganapathyam

Temple Darshan and Powerful Chants

Before the formal program, Mohanji, along with Devi Mohan and several followers, visited the Surya Kaladi Ganapathi temple located within the house. A deeply devotional Ekadasa Rudram chanting took place, with eleven devotees reciting Sri Rudram eleven times. This was followed by an abhishekam of the Shivalinga, accompanied by the collective chanting of Om Namah Shivaya.

Mohanji on the Essence of Shaivam

Addressing the gathering, Mohanji spoke about Shaivam, describing Shiva as the ultimate embodiment of stillness and the formless Absolute. He emphasized that Shiva cannot be comprehended through intellect but only experienced when one transcends and becomes Shiva oneself.

Interaction and Blessings

The discourse was followed by an engaging Q&A session. Mohanji then personally blessed and embraced everyone present, from children to elders, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Sharing His Path with the Wider World

Later, Mohanji gave an impactful interview to TV Janam, where he spoke about the global humanitarian initiatives of the Mohanji Foundation, the importance of connecting with one’s inner self, and the essence of his spiritual path.

A Graceful Commencement

The evening concluded on a heartfelt and powerful note, setting the tone for a meaningful and graceful five-day celebration of Lord Ganesha.
