Mohanji Addresses Global Leaders at Diplomacy & Leadership Evening in New York
New York, October 1, 2026: Brahmarishi Dr Mohanji was welcomed as the Guest of Honour and keynote speaker at a Diplomacy & Leadership Evening in New York, bringing together diplomats, business leaders and representatives from academia, culture, media and philanthropy from more than 40 countries.
The evening focused on the importance of dialogue, trust and building meaningful connections across cultures and nations. The gathering also marked the centenary of the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York, bringing together a diverse group of international representatives around a shared spirit of cooperation and understanding.
A Distinguished Gathering in New York
The event was hosted by Ambassador Dr. Vladimir Božović, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York and President of the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York, together with Dame Gloria Starr Kins, President and Founder of Society & Diplomatic Review.
At 99, Dame Gloria Starr Kins graciously opened her home for the gathering, creating an intimate setting for an evening of conversation and exchange among distinguished guests from different walks of life.
Mohanji Speaks on a More Connected World
In his keynote address, Mohanji reflected on the need to move beyond the divisions created by culture, nationality, religion and geographical borders. He spoke of shared understanding as a means of bringing people closer and encouraged the gathering to view humanity not merely as separate nations and communities, but as one interconnected whole.
Reflecting on the limited nature of human life, Mohanji noted that a lifetime amounts to approximately 30,000 days. He invited the audience to consider how those days could be used meaningfully, particularly by people who have the opportunity and influence to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
His message centred on the importance of using one’s position, resources and influence in the service of humanity, while encouraging greater cooperation and understanding across boundaries.
Preserving Indigenous Wisdom for the Benefit of Humanity
Mohanji also spoke about the World Tribal Alliance, an initiative he founded to bring together indigenous wisdom keepers from different parts of the world.
The Alliance seeks to create a platform where indigenous communities can share their traditional knowledge and perspectives, recognising the relevance of their wisdom in addressing the needs of an increasingly interconnected world.
The evening concluded as a meaningful gathering of international voices, united by a common interest in dialogue, cooperation and a more connected future. Appreciation was extended to Ambassador Dr. Vladimir Božović, Dame Gloria Starr Kins, Society & Diplomatic Review, the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York, moderator Tijana Ibrahimović of POP Style TV, and all the guests who contributed to the occasion.
