Mohanji at the 11th International Interfaith Conference in Lucknow: Celebrating Uniqueness, Unity and Womanhood
A Gathering of Faiths and Shared Values
On 24–25 July 2026, Mohanji joined faith leaders, dignitaries and changemakers in Lucknow for the 11th International Interfaith Conference, organised by City Montessori School in collaboration with Bharatiya Sarva Dharma Sansad.
Held under the theme “Reimagining Our World Together: Placing Gender Equality at the Heart of Humanity,” the conference brought together representatives of diverse faiths, cultures and countries to explore how mutual understanding and collective action can contribute to a more harmonious world.
As part of the Bharatiya Sarva Dharma Sansad, led by Mahamandleshwar Shri Guruji Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj, Mohanji joined fellow spiritual and faith leaders, including Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Sardar Surjit Singh Azad, Swami Veer Singh Hitkari ji, Padmashri Shri Shyam Sunder Paliwal among others in strengthening the bonds of respect, cooperation and interfaith harmony.
Beyond Equality: Recognising Individual Uniqueness
During the panel discussion, Mohanji offered a thoughtful perspective on gender equality, drawing attention to the importance of recognising and celebrating the uniqueness of every individual.
He emphasised the nurturing force of womanhood and the essential role women play in sustaining families, communities and society. A stable woman helps build a stable society, and respecting women is fundamental to the well-being of humanity.
Mohanji’s perspective encouraged a deeper understanding of equality, one that does not overlook individual strengths and inherent qualities. Rather than measuring everyone against the same standards, he highlighted the importance of recognising the distinctive contributions each person brings to the world.
Nurturing Every Child's Potential
Addressing educators, Mohanji encouraged schools to recognise and nurture the natural orientation and uniqueness of every child. By allowing children to grow through their individual strengths rather than comparison, education can help them develop into confident individuals who contribute meaningfully to society.
This vision resonates with initiatives such as the World Womanhood Project and the Festival of Womanhood, which celebrate dignity, strength and the unique contribution of every individual.
From Dialogue to Meaningful Action
For Mohanji, lasting harmony must extend beyond conversations and find expression through action, relationships and genuine human connection. The conference provided an opportunity for faith leaders to strengthen their collective commitment to peace, unity and social harmony.
The spirit of togetherness continued with members of the Bharatiya Sarva Dharma Sansad visiting Deva Shareef Dargah, led by Haji Syed Salman Chishty. The visit reflected the shared vision of bringing people of different faiths together through mutual respect, friendship and sincere human connection.
The gathering reaffirmed an important principle at the heart of Mohanji’s message: unity does not require uniformity. It flourishes when we respect our differences, recognise each other’s uniqueness and translate shared values into collective action.
