Join the first anniversary of the Prana Pratistha of the Dharma Shasta (Ayyappa) Temple — the revered family deity temple of Mohanji — in Palakkad, Kerala. This auspicious milestone marks one year since the consecration of the deity, now radiating blessings, protection, and abundance to all who seek it.
Both days are open to all. Attend freely and participate in the ceremonies, or deepen your connection through ritual sponsorship. No registration required.
THE TEMPLE & ITS LINEAGE
A 200-year living tradition
The roots of this temple trace back over 200 years to Muttichur, Thrissur district, Kerala — the ancestral home of Lord Dharma Shasta, the Kuladevata (family deity) of Mohanji’s lineage. Born of the combined glory of Lord Mahavishnu and Lord Shiva, Dharma Shasta embodies balance, dharma, and divine protection.
Through divine guidance obtained via astrological consultation, the deity expressed willingness to relocate. A new sacred space was acquired, constructed with devotion, and consecrated under the guidance of Thantri Sri Andaladi Parameswaran Namboothiripad. The Prana Pratistha rituals were conducted from 22–28 May 2025, with the temple opening on 29 May 2025.

For devotees who wish to dedicate a ritual or support the broader celebration, full sponsorships are available. Ritual sponsors are named in the ceremony and receive direct blessings from the Thantri. Infrastructure sponsors ensure that every attendee — from visiting priests to travelling devotees — is properly supported.
