Mohanji Unveils ‘Compassion on Wheels’ in Delhi, Expanding Ammucare’s Mission of Humanity
Greater Noida: In a significant step towards expanding its humanitarian outreach, Ammucare Charitable Trust officially unveiled ‘Compassion on Wheels’, a mobile service initiative dedicated to delivering food, care, and essential support directly to underserved communities. The initiative was inaugurated by Mahamandaleshwar Param Pujya Shri Guruji Goswami Sushil Giri Ji Maharaj alongwith Bhramarishi Mohanji, Founder of Ammucare Charitable Trust.
The launch took place in Greater Noida in the presence of eminent spiritual, interfaith, and community leaders. The occasion coincided with the birthday celebrations of Param Pujya Shri Guruji Goswami Sushil Giri Ji Maharaj, adding a special spiritual significance to the event
Taking Compassion Beyond Boundaries
Designed to reach people where help is needed most, Compassion on Wheels embodies Ammucare’s commitment to serving humanity with dignity, respect, and unconditional compassion. More than a food distribution vehicle, the initiative represents a mobile platform of care that transcends barriers of caste, religion, background, and geography. Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted that true service is measured not merely by providing food, but by restoring hope, human dignity, and a sense of belonging to those in need.
Traditional Blessings Mark the Launch
The inauguration commenced with an opening prayer, followed by addresses from distinguished guests and members of the Ammucare Council. The newly launched vehicle received a traditional welcome with the vibrant rhythms of dhol and tasha, was beautifully adorned with flowers, and blessed through a customary Vehicle Puja.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the vehicle was ceremonially flagged off by Param Pujya Shri Guruji Goswami Sushil Giri Ji Maharaj, whose blessings and encouragement added special significance to the launch. The Ammucare family expressed heartfelt gratitude for his unwavering support of the initiative.
A Celebration of Interfaith Unity
The event brought together respected leaders from diverse faiths, reflecting a shared commitment to humanitarian service and social harmony.
Among the distinguished guests were Haji Syed Salman Chisty of Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Surjit Singh Azad, Vice Chairman of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Father Sebastian, Principal of St. Fidelis School, Swami Veer Singh Hittkari Maharaj, Father Bento, and Father Herman Normen.

The programme also featured the birthday celebration of Guruji, followed by an engaging media interaction during which speakers shared their thoughts on compassion, collective responsibility, and the importance of selfless service in today’s world. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and fellowship over tea and refreshments.
