This option includes a personal coconut offering made in your name, offered into the sacred fire. This Maha Shivaratri is not about releasing or cleansing accumulated baggage, as we may do in a homa. It is about Sankalpa - conscious surrender. In the spirit of the Shiva Kavacha, we offer ourselves fully into His protection, the body and its elements, the organs, the energy system, the mind, intellect, and all mental faculties.
