Mohanji Foundation Day Celebrations

On Sunday, April 16th, 2023, Mohanji Foundation Day was celebrated in Dallas, Texas.

Last April, the City of Frisco, Collin County and the State of Texas issued Proclamations declaring April 16th as 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗶 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆. It was a recognition of the work the Foundation does around the world, in the US and in the State of Texas. We are honored and deeply grateful and wish to reiterate our commitment to partner with Community Leaders to serve our communities.

While 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢 could not be here physically, we are grateful that 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻, Global Ambassador of Mohanji Foundation & President of ACT Foundation represented 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp by 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻. This was followed by a soulful rendering of Indian Classical Violin recital by gifted and talented youth from the City of Frisco. Mohanji Foundation President 𝗚𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺 welcomed the dignitaries and guests. He spoke about Mohanji, about Devi Mohan and the work of the Foundation in Texas, the US and around the World. He reiterated Mohanji’s core teachings – “Unconditional Love, Adding Value to Society, Giving back to Mother Earth than you take and leave the world a better place for the generations to come.”

Collin County Commissioner 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 and City of Frisco Council Member 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 graced the occasion and offered their support for the Foundation.

Collin County Commissioner 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 issued a Proclamation declaring 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍 16𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒔 𝑴𝑶𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑱𝑰 𝑫𝑨𝒀. It is truly an honor and indeed a great responsibility to serve the communities in the State of Texas.

As part of the Mohanji Foundation Celebrations, there were two programs that Devi offered prior to the main event – Conscious Dancing and Awakening Yoga Nidra. Conscious Dancing was super intense and very joyous, while Awakening Yoga Nidra left a deep impression and expanded the hearts of all present.

Devi's Book Launch - Home for Refugee

Deviji’s book – Home for a Refugee was officially launched at this event. Devi enthralled and indeed uplifted all present with her beautiful narration of her journey writing the autobiography and sharing her struggles and triumphs – truly an inspiration!

Mohanji - Live From Australia

The highlight of the evening was Mohanji’s LIVE appearance from Sydney, Australia. Mohanji thanked the City, County and State officials for the honor of 𝑀𝑜ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑗𝑖 𝐹𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐷𝑎𝑦 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑐𝑙𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠. His message, delivered with clarity urging us to realize that we are on earth for a limited duration and must leave the earth a better place. We must live our lives with Kindness, Compassion, Positivity, Responsibility and Purpose-bound. He reiterated our commitment to making a positive contribution to the City of Frisco, Collin County, the State of Texas and all of the USA
