Mohanji honoured with Global Compassion Ambassador Award at BRICS-CCI Annual Recognition Awards 2024

Historic Recognition for Mohanji: Receives Honorary Doctorate from Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University

UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN — On February 4, 2024, the Mohanji Foundation celebrated a landmark achievement as its esteemed founder, mentor, and spiritual leader, Mohanji, was conferred with an honorary degree from the prestigious Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

This esteemed acknowledgment, which is only the fourth of its kind in the history of this university, underscores Mohanji’s outstanding contribution to humanity.

Mohanji donned the ceremonial doctorate gown and stood shoulder to shoulder with graduating students in a symbolic depiction of shared academic achievement in a ceremony that combined tradition with modern meaning. The visual extravaganza, filled with the customary academic garb, gave the event an extremely solemn air.

Interestingly, Mohanji’s responsibility went beyond just accepting the award; he was also given the distinction of giving out diplomas to other graduates. This unplanned but very meaningful act amplified the event’s significance by highlighting the interdependence of knowledge and wisdom. Mohanji also experienced the warmth of the famous Rajasthani hospitality and enjoyed the region’s well-known cuisine.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in homage to Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and arts. Distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. B.P. Sharma (UNESCO MGIEP), Mr. Sanjay Singhal (Chairman Secure Meters), Rahul Agarwal (Chairman Pacific University), Mr. Aman Agarwal (Exec. Dir. Pacific University), Mr. Sharad Kothari (CEO Pacific University), Mr. Hemant Kothari (Dean Pacific University), and Prof. K. K. Dave (President of Ceremony), were welcomed with honor and presented mementos. Mohanji’s spouse, Devi Mohan, was also acknowledged on stage.

During his address, Mohanji emphasized the promising future of India’s youth and outlined three essential values for a successful career: self-acceptance, gratitude, and working for the greater good. His insightful words resonated with the graduating students, offering valuable guidance for their future endeavors.

Despite it being Mohanji’s inaugural visit to Udaipur, he expressed a heartfelt connection, stating that it would undoubtedly not be his last as “we are now family.”

The Mohanji Foundation extends gratitude to the university and all involved. As we anticipate the positive impact of Mohanji’s wisdom and leadership on shaping a brighter future for humanity, this historic recognition marks a significant chapter in the journey of the Mohanji Foundation.
