Mohanji honoured with Global Compassion Ambassador Award at BRICS-CCI Annual Recognition Awards 2024

In an extraordinary celebration of excellence and innovation, the inaugural BRICS-CCI Annual Recognition Awards (B.A.R.A) 2024 in New Delhi acknowledged the outstanding humanitarian contributions of Mohanji. Mohanji Foundation was awarded the prestigious BRICS-CCI Jury Recommended Global Compassion Ambassador Award, under the Lifetime Achievement Awards category.
The jury presented this award to Mohanji in recognition of his remarkable achievements and impact globally, his unwavering commitment, and the innovative spirit on display through his organisation Mohanji Foundation. Furthermore, Mohanji Foundation’s work has left a significant mark not just within its field, but also propelled the goals of cooperation and progress among the BRICS nations.
The first ever such awards, B.A.R.A 2024 represent an ongoing process of celebrating the common factor of unleashing the power of the BRICS bloc. Former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, was the Chief Guest of the event and handed over the Jury recommended awards in the Lifetime Achievement category. In his short address, Shri Kovind highlighted the importance of sustainable development and responsible business practices.
Besides Mohanji, the Jury Awards were also given to luminaries of Indian society and business including Smt Rajshree Birla, late Dr Bindeshwar Pathak, Ms Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Shri Kailash Kher and Dr Khadar Valli Dudekala.
The program was also graced by Maharaja Dr Karan Singh (chief guest for the awards ceremony), Shri KJ Alphons, former Union Minister of State (Tourism), Ms Svetlana Lukash – G20 Russian Sherpa and Ambassadors from various countries, showcasing the event’s global appeal. Speaking at the event, Sushi Singh – Executive Director, Co-founder of BRICS-CCI and Concept Founder B.A.R.A – emphasised B.A.R.A’s alignment with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One)”, embodying a commitment to unleash the power of the expanding BRICS bloc.
A heartfelt expression of gratitude goes to the esteemed Sri Ramnath Kovind, the 14th President of India 🇮🇳. We extend our sincere thanks for selecting the Mohanji Foundation among 38 outstanding organizations and individuals receiving B.A.R.A awards. It is an immense honor that President Kovind personally presented the award, personally delivering only six out of the 38, with one of them being bestowed upon the Mohanji Foundation.

After the Jury Awards ceremony, Mohanji delivered a short but powerful speech where he emphasised the relevance of the BRICs countries and the urgent need for countries and people to come together. He spoke about valuing humanity and peace above all else and urged leaders to take steps to shun all violence and destruction.
Mohanji’s recognition at this prestigious international forum not only honours his individual contributions but also shines a light on the broader impact of spiritual and humanitarian leaders in fostering global unity and compassion. This award symbolises a call to action for others to join efforts to uplift humanity and create a more harmonious and united world.
